Bought a 1969 Raised Ranch - Complete Remodel Makeovers on a Budget
Hey Everyone! Sorry its been a minute since I've hopped on here to blog - or even t make youtube videos OYE! I bought my first home back in Nov. and have been pretty busy working on remodels, furnishing etc. to the new home. Wanted to share some of the before and after pictures so far. This is an awesome house - but it was very outdated 70'S and 80'S style kitchen, bathroom - everything. So its taken a lot of time and effort from me and the man to get things where they are now - esp. working on a budget. I've become pretty good now at bargain hunting, keeping an eye on the latest home decor trends and putting together some great rooms and cheap prices you wouldn't believe! If you like what you see in the pics below - give me a shout and I will provide, price, stores, and how tos on how I got the looks on a budget!
You will see below an outdated white Kitchen we painted Black and Tan with Red accents. Also a very small bathroom that was horrendous Pink now a lovely brown and green and totally updated on the cheap. Also those sickening yellow tile bathrooms we have to sometimes deal with becuase bath renovations are costly -- only need some imagination, planning and PAINT to take away from the eye sore and create something really wonderful! This was a yellow tile bathroom that had horrible wall paper - with some grey paint to dye down the brightness, and the right black decor, its become wonderfully modern!
This small bath room has transformed into a great, chique bath without having to do anything too major here!
A dining room that went from BLAND to WOW. RED DINING ROOMS SAY IT ALL.
And then there was the wHite and Yellow Outdated kitchen -- this took the most work but pleasently pleased with the black painted cabinets, tan walls and red accents...
